OVERVIEW:
Working as a Part-Time International Inside Sales Specialist, you will respond to daily RFQs from International customers and potential customers, establish, and grow relationships with international customers by providing excellent customer service. You will work with our export compliance team and international logistics team to provide fast, efficient, accurate, and cost effective sales transaction for the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Developing strong relationships with international customers to generate repeat business with the goal to expand this business to one that will be supported on a local level where deemed fit
o Applying product and POS knowledge to generate quotes
o Sourcing products with suppliers
o Demonstrating attention to detail to meet customer requirements and individual country regulations
o Maintaining a professional work ethic
o Supporting the International Business Development Manager in efforts to grow our international sales
o Balancing multiple customer requests at different stages of the buying process

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o 18 years of age or over
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and prioritizing abilities
o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong attention to detail
o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
o Ability to work a flexible schedule to attend conference calls that may not be held during regular working hours
o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Prior sales experience
o Previous Fastenal store experience with product and POS knowledge.
