Revenue Cycle Associate

Element Consulting Group has an immediate need for Revenue Cycle Associates to join our client’s team in the Charlotte, North Carolina. Interested candidates must be open to company-sponsored relocation to the Charlotte, NC area.

As an Associate, you can expect to work with a team of operational leaders who are focused not only on the needs of the client, but also on ensuring you have the opportunities and support needed to reach your professional development objectives. You will report to an experienced Manager, but will also work shoulder to shoulder with Directors, Vice Presidents and the Managing Partners as well. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in each segment of the revenue cycle process including: Patient Access, Health Information Management, Accounts Receivable Management, Denials and Appeals, and Client Relations. You are expected to meet project timelines and produce deliverables, while managing a busy training program and balancing operational and client needs, but you will also be provided a first person view of why this industry is so rewarding and what fuels our passion for excellence. Self-study and development are key requirements for an associate to gain additional knowledge and experiences for their development.

Associates are expected to demonstrate refined technical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in both independent and group settings, in order to develop effective solutions. Position responsibilities allow you to work hands-on work within multiple revenue cycle functions, data gathering, organizing ideas into actionable tasks, structuring documents and electronic data, financial modeling, performing both qualitative and quantitative analyses, identifying trends, and compiling and implementing effective solutions.

  • Undergraduate Bachelor's degree majoring related to Health Care, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Consulting required.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to rapid growth and a progressing environment
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Willingness to participate in self-study and continued education to learn the changing healthcare industry
