Ultrasound Multi-Modality Technologist

About Us:

·     The Area:  NVRH is located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom – a region known for  rural charm, unspoiled beauty and four season recreational activities.  St. Johnsbury is a quaint town with excellent public and private schools, with superb skiing and 100 miles of "Kingdom Trails" mountain biking nearby.

            

Responsibilities:

·        Perform ultrasounds and communicate effectively with our physician team.

·        The Ultrasound Multi-Modality Technologist would report to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging and work closely with other team members in Diagnostic Imaging.  

 

 

Requirements:

·        The ideal candidate must have successfully completed an ultrasound program and currently hold a certification through ARDMS as well as RVT credentialing.  

·         A minimum of one-year postgraduate clinical experience is required.  

·        Must be willing to rotate through weekend call and after hours flexible call.  

·        The candidate must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills necessary for effective interactions with patients and providers.  

·        Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, a must.  

·        Continuing education and continued development as a technologist is an expectation.

·        Other imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, NM) preferred, but not required.
