As of April 2018, incidences of autism diagnosis reached a ratio of 1:59 children by the age of eight years old across America. One out of every fifty-nine. When you consider how many people you directly or indirectly interact with on any given day, odds are very good that you are and will be interacting with an individual with autism. These are our children, siblings, friends; future coworkers, parents, employers, etc….

Haugland Learning Center - Columbus, OH branch is seeking full-time teacher support staff for special needs students with Autism.
Assist with individual students under the direction of the teacher
Assist with assigned student’s daily living skills and academic assignments
Collect and record data accurately
Assist with student’s behavior plan
Attend and participate in training as required
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized office/classroom space
Supervise students while they are in ACE
Dress appropriately for an office/school environment and abide by HLC Dress Code (see Employee Handbook)
Perform any other reasonable duties as required
- Position is full-time Monday through Friday 8 am - 3:30 pm. Holidays and weekends off.
- Haugland Learning Center provides in-depth training, as well as provides all necessary classroom supplies.
- Potential for promotion based on performance
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
*Pay rate: Salary $28,000+ per year
- Medical, Dental, Vision, 10 weeks' paid vacation, LTD and Life insurance is available after 90 days of full-time employment. 401(k) with company matching up to 3% available after 6 months of full-time employment.
