Administrative and Nonprofit Management Intern

About ATFL:
The American Task Force on Lebanon (ATFL) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization comprised of Americans of Lebanese heritage and others who share a common interest in Lebanon and the goals of the ATFL.

ATFL is nonsectarian, independent, and nonpartisan. Our purpose is to improve the civic, cultural, educational, and charitable ties between our two countries, and the common values that unite us. We work to expand the awareness of the economic, social, and political conditions in both countries and to enhance our relationship through a better understanding of each country’s interests and expectations. 

The mission and objectives of ATFL shall always be in the best interest of the United States and will promote the national unity, independence, and prosperity of a democratic and multi-sectarian Lebanon.

Administrative and Nonprofit Management Intern:

ATFL is seeking a qualified intern to assist part time (up to 20 hours a week) with a variety of administrative nonprofit management tasks. The intern will work primarily with our Executive Assistant and Events Coordinator.

Tasks will focus heavily on:
a)    database management
b)    document preparation, editing, and review
c)    event planning
digital & traditional communications activities and other tasks as needed

Skills Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are important. Familiarity with Bloomerang, Mailchimp, Wordpress and/or Wix is a plus. All work will be virtual. General knowledge of Lebanon or the Levant region is also helpful.

This is volunteer opportunity. However, they are willing to work with your school to transition into providing academic credit at the start of the next semester.
