We are redefining education in New Ulm. We offer an early learning center for pre-school and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities and core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory and experiential learning opportunities. Our new high school building is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational and work ready courses. We have many opportunities for fine arts and athletics for all students.

Job Summary:                    
As District 88 moves towards a Regional Career and Technical Center, we are looking for instructors who are innovative and have the desire to teach and promote careers which support “Trades and Industry” 

Qualifications:                       
Minnesota Teacher licensure in Industrial Technology, Agriculture or other fields with the aptitude, knowledge and skills within the Trades and Industry sector is desired. Two or Four year degree is required. We will work with non licensed teachers to achieve licensure.

Desired Qualifications:
Possess a variety of skills which may include; Welding, Automotive, Small Engine, Wood Working, Building Construction, Metals (Fabrication), Mill and Lathe CNC, Computer Technology (CAD, Chief Architect, Programming and others), Robotics, and much more.

2020-2021 School Year

Salary:                                               
Dependent on experience; per Teacher Master Agreement
