Consultant, Center 4All

The mission of the CESA 6 Center 4All is to support systems by honoring the uniqueness of each individual and embracing diverse backgrounds, values, and points of view in order to build strong, inclusive communities to prepare all people for life in a global society.

To support the work of the Center4All, CESA 6 is hiring a Consultant to work closely together with the Director, Center 4All to provide high quality products and services related to the Center 4All. The Consultant, Center 4All will serve as a diversity, equity and inclusion specialist in the areas of awareness, allyship, advocacy, and agency for students and families throughout CESA 6 and the state of Wisconsin. The consultant will be well skilled in making effective oral presentations before large groups of people and able to effectively express ideas orally and in writing. Additionally, the Consultant, Center 4All will develop and lead diversity, equity and inclusion professional development and coaching for school districts, non-profits and for-profit organizations.

The essential functions of the Consultant, Center 4All include, but is not limited to the following:
• Develop, promote, and deliver high-quality, timely products/services consistent with client and project goals.
• Build relationships and collaborate with internal and external customers and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
• Gather, organize, analyze, and utilize data to effectively determine client, and department needs and to formulate solutions.
• Attend appropriate trainings, meetings, workshops, and in-services.
• Serve as an online influencer for the Center 4All.
• Develop and lead the CESA 6 Digital Learning Center 4All products and services.
• Utilize department protocol for the management of the invoice process.
• Plan, create content, and facilitate content specific virtual and face-to-face meetings.
• Demonstrate aptitude in the sales and marketing of products and services.
• Contribute to progress monitoring the department Plan on a Page in alignment with an individual Plan on a Page (strategic).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The individual hired for this position will have at minimum 2 years of experience in the field of diversity, equity and inclusion, working professionally in the government, business, consulting, nonprofit, and/or academic sectors. Multilingual skills is preferred, but not required.

A Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidates will possess the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction administrative license as a Principal (code 5051).

This position may require extended hours including evenings and weekends, with travel to include out of CESA 6 region locations. With the position being remote, this position requires the ability to effectively work in a home office environment.

• Professionally represent the agency and public, private and parochial school districts in interactions with staff, customers and community.
• Facilitate an overall work environment of mutual respect and collaboration.
