Obtains adequate and correct blood specimens by skin puncture, or venipuncture, using proper technique and equipment within the established hospital procedure on adults and children, inpatient and outpatients.
Responsible for all paperwork related to charting all completed reports on inpatients and outpatients.
Responsible for registering all courier work.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification by a nationally accredited agency required.
Three months recent clinical phlebotomy experience preferred, but will consider new graduate.
