Multiple openings throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area - Including Plymouth, Wayzata, Crystal, Golden Valley and St Louis Park!
Tasks Include:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living and personal cares – including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring and continence.
- Support the facility by helping to cook, clean, and run errands as needed.
- Making appointments, bringing clients to and from appointments and community outings.
- Staying up to date with documentation and proper procedures.
- Helping clients to become more independent by giving support and gentle coaching.
- Using redirection and de-escalation techniques as needed for client safety.
Direct Support Professional requirements:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification Preferred
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to bend, lift and stand for long periods of time
- Related education or experience in mental health, behavioral health, health care OR experience working in a group home or residential facility
