Independent Living Skills Workers (ILS)

As an ILS Worker, you would be responsible for supporting and guiding up to 16 adult men and women with mental illness in a Saint Paul residential treatment program. Independent Living Skills Worker key responsibilities:

• Overnight candidates must be able to provide supportive services during night hours and assist with bedtime/ morning routines
• Support clients with daily living activities including assisting with meal preparation and household management
• Offer support and guidance to clients experiencing mental illness, with the goal of recovery and stabilization
• Perform accurate documentation and record keeping for residential treatment plans and goals
• Demonstrate knowledge of and help residents to access community resources
• Assist residents with medication administration and some personal cares
